2 New HDR Images
Project : HDRI
Hello all, I made two new HDR Images because my father lent me his high-end camera again. I'm learning a lot. I have to confess, though I have two finished HDR Images I made many attempts. Light and proper settings is key in HDRI photography.
The goal of these two HDR Images is to capture light for hanging 3d generated objects off the wall. I simply hung the globe on the wall.
This HDRI was made on June 12th at 6am outside my house. I'm not going to post all the exposures but I took 12 for this HDRI ranging from 1 seconds to 1/2000 seconds at one stop intervals.
This one was made on June 12th at 6:30am in my kids play area just inside the patio door. This one I decided to reduce the exposures and only took 9 from 8 seconds to 1/2000 at two stop intervals.
After taking these photos, I've concluded that I need a larger globe for "Hanging" HDRI. Since I have the option to be farther away I could use a larger globe. The smaller globe is perfect for shooting directly down since the reduced distance from camera and globe.
I also want to experiment with exposers. Do I really need to take all these exposers if their use is simply to capture light for IBL (Image Based Lighting) in maya. Maybe I could bracket the normal exposures then expose for the light source and that's it. A total of 4 brackets. Or will I want to expose for the shadows. Ahhh good times. I'll keep you posted.
